Engineering Bio

Explore my lifelong fascination with computers and how early exposure shaped my engineering journey.

I’ve been fascinated by computers for as long as I can remember. I was lucky that my parents had computers in their office and needed help managing them. I spent countless hours assembling PCs, experimenting with electronics, programming simple circuits, hosting LAN parties and writing software for funsies

In college, having decided for art school, I went to uni with classes on digital art, interactive media, and interaction design

Around 2011, friends began inviting me to join their startups. What started as helping build early products quickly turned into a career designing and shipping software for ambitious teams across the United States and Latin America. Since then I’ve worked with venture-backed startups, healthcare companies, media platforms, government technology initiatives, and founder-led businesses, taking products from whiteboard sketches to systems serving thousands, and sometimes millions of people

Over the last decade I’ve specialized in full-stack engineering, systems architecture, cloud infrastructure, and engineering leadership. I enjoy working where technology, product strategy, and design intersect, helping founders make practical technical decisions without losing sight of the bigger vision. Whether I’m writing code, designing architecture, mentoring engineers, or planning product roadmaps, my goal is always the same: build software that people genuinely enjoy

Today I continue to work as a fractional CTO and senior engineer while burning large art in festivals. I believe the best technology is open, approachable, thoughtfully designed, and created in close collaboration with the people who use it

I’ve written my own frameworks and can easily learn new ones to adapt to the project; lately I’ve been working using Odoo, Typescript, Postgres & deploying to digital ocean
