Capital Region Burners is a community for people inspired by the principles of Burning Man and regional burner culture throughout New York's Capital Region

We bring together artists, musicians, makers, performers, technologists, dreamers, and curious humans to create meaningful experiences year-round. Whether you're a longtime burner, have attended regional events, or are simply looking for a creative and welcoming community, you're invited

Our gatherings range from casual coffee meetups and skill shares to art builds, workshops, potlucks, volunteer projects, dance parties, camping trips, and collaborative events. Together, we create spaces where participation matters more than spectatorship and where creativity, generosity, and connection come first

We are not Burning Man. We are an independent local community inspired by its principles, working to strengthen friendships, support local artists, and create opportunities for people to build something together

Everyone is welcome who approaches the community with kindness, curiosity, and respect
